They go to their strategic and secret hideout, find the alien base that happens to be nearby, and read up on the alien race. Inbetween filming all of this, there are random cameos of Rach-L singing and the crew dancing in a tunnel- most likely one leading to their secret hideout or whatever. Also, in the process, they have a sudden wardrobe change into complete black outfits to keep in spirit of the lyrics of the song.
Anyway, the crew approaches the alien gate with the poorly animated aliens guarding it. C!lla flashes mirrors of them and appearantly that is their weakness to they both faint. They untie the captive people though the bus is still nowhere to be found. Just when everything seemed to go according to the rescue plan, a whole bunch of those aliens appear to stop Ch!pz.
The two groups settle this with a dance off. Ch!pz when, the aliens combust or something. Anyway, everything is shown being solved while the UFO retreats. End of video. See? just a short little adventure. It still bothers me that everything in these videos is solved by dancing, well actually its just in the later two videos that I just watched; but it's still bothersome.
Song isn't that bad; its a little reminiscent of the pop that I listened to when I was a second grader or so. Though the video is obviously targeting a younger audience (the video I used was appearantly broadcasting this on Fox Kids in a somewhat related note), the lyrics aren't necessarily as limited as an audience. Actually Cowboy's lyrics weren't that bad either. It was a subject
that could get the attention of a somewhat larger audience.
However, the song is rather mediocre to listen to in terms of the fact that the song doesn't sound entirely original, but most songs don't. It's not perfect, but hey- nothing is. It's not something I would listen to over and over again but you can introduce this kind of stuff to children and stuff and they might enjoy it.
Here are the lyrics:
Sabishigariya no
Kubi wo sasurou
Anjite nemure
Haha wo omotte
Zawameku na no hana
Amakumoru sora
Are hodo ai shi
Omae made mo ga
Atashi wo oite yuku no ka
Hashigeta ni motare
Amadare ni utare
Dakishimeru hodo
Kuchiru naki gara
Kikoete iru ka
Kanjite iru ka
Naitemo ii ka
Hazusareta akai kubiwa wo kizuna wo nigitte
Yume wo minasai
And here is the English translation:
You're lonely
I'll massage your neck
Sleep peacefully
Thinking of your mother
The lively green flowers
The sky full of rain clouds
Will even you
Leave me
When I love you so much?
Leaning on the railing of the bridge
Lashed by the rain
A corpse
That rots the more you hold it
Can you hear me?
Can you feel it?
Is it okay to cry?
Clutch the red necklace you took off, and this bond
And dream.
I don't really know Japanese but that's what I found when I searched online. I'm a HUGE Aya fan actually. I have all albums and all singles as things stand right now. It's a shame she isn't known well enough on English websites because I would really like to know more about her, see interviews, and watch millions of live performances on youtube but that isn't available for me. This song was placed in the time frame between Aya's grungy-hardcore phase and her more refined hard rock that she had lately produced with the exception of that pop rock song she did for the ending of some anime show that I can't recall the name of... so it's kinda this inbetween hard rock thing. I rather like it... well anyway, enjoy.
Sorry I haven't updated for a month, I've been extremely lazy to post reviews and stuff. After a quick moment in thought, I decided that I'll be back but there won't be always everyday updates. Anyway, I left off at reviewing Ch!pz videos so here we go!
The video opens with the Ch!pz crew captured in a pirate ship and the captain claiming to be Captain Hook makes threatening statements to them though he doesn't look much like the Captain Hook we all are familiar with. Then, of course, I suppose they were trying to avoid copyright infringements. As the song starts, there are cameos of all four members singing the chorus.
The dancing skills of Ch!pz are obviously superior so Captain Hook gets all frustrated and pissed. He and the crew try to fight the normal way and they still fail because the good guys always win in this sort of thing. In the last few moments, Kevin takes a picture of frustrated and humiliated Captain Hook on his cell phone and the group returns to their normal time. Then, Rach-L is seen looking at that same picture and comparing it to some guy who is sitting in the same position.
The video wasn't anything special per-say. It was another Ch!pz adventure. I liked this one a bit better than the Cowboy video because of the costuming and the dance number. I would only recommend this video to watch if you're a child or if you have nothing better to do than to watch it. Remember, Ch!pz is full of cheese, so deal with it!
